Salary: $23.37 to 23.87 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Term or contract employment
Job Type: Temporary work assignment
Location: Burlington, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening and Shift
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have tools, steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, manually dexter, pay attention to detail and also stand for extended periods
- The candidate should be physically strong and also a combination of sitting, standing, walking
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also take initiative
- The candidate should be punctual, dependable, reliable and also a team player
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment and also sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
- The candidate should be able to assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers and also perform other labouring and elemental activities
