Salary: $18.00 hourly for 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Richmond, BC
Shifts: Flexible Hours, 08:30 to 14:00
Work setting: Room and board provided and work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Personal Support Worker Certificate
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit dependability and be reliable in fulfilling their commitments
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and be organized in their duties and responsibilities
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to care for pets, administer medications, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder, and launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, provide companionship, and provide personal care
- The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and cook
