Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Urban area, Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: Health Care Aide Certificate
Security and safety: Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking
- The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be accustomed to repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to lift between 81 and 100 kg (177-220 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality and have a focus on clients, demonstrating dependability, possessing efficient interpersonal skills, and having excellent oral communication
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility, show initiative, and demonstrate good judgment, while being organized, exhibiting reliability, and being team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, assist clients in water, such as in a pool, and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, such as going for walks, assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder, and launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, provide companionship, provide personal care, shop for food and household supplies, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
