Vanco Farms Ltd. is a family owned and operated farm focusing to growing organic, specialty potatoes, and tulips. Whether products are grown in our fields or in our greenhouse facilities we adhere to the highest level or growing practices. For 35 years we have been setting the standard for produce production. We are known to provide satisfaction to our customers, that they don’t have to go to any one else after getting the best services from us. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $13.70 to $21.00 hourly for 40 to 47.5 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time
Location: 9311 Trans Canada Highway, Rte 1, Mount Albion, PE, C1B 0R4
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, 07:00 to 17:00
Work Setting: Various locations
Work site environment: Candidates should work in fruit and vegetable combination farming, dusty and cold or refrigerated area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be physically strong
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be able to stand for extended periods
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- The candidate should be able to harvest crops
