Farm Labourer
Vanco Farms Ltd. based in Mount Albion, PE is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Farm Labourer. Vanco Farms Ltd. is known to grow specialty potatoes, organic potatoes, premium cut tulips, and tulip bulbs. We are family owned and operated farm. We are known to proudly grow our products in the signature red soil of Prince Edward Island. We are known to be working with striving for sustainable and organic farmland for the next generation. We are also recognised as industrial leaders. We adhere to the highest level or growing practices We hire foreign workers to fill labour or skill shortages on a temporary basis.
The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to full time or permanent employment. The candidate has to work in Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours and Early Morning shifts. This position of Farm Labourer is approved by the LMIA.

Salary: $13.00 to $21.00 hourly for 40 to 47.5 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, 07:00 to 17:00
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Dusty, Cold/refrigerated

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need any standard educational qualification such as a degree, certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need any experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be physically demanding
- The candidate should be a combination of standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling
