Son in Law Produce LTD. is providing community the freshest, locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as a taste of the countryside’s charm. We grow a wide range of produce, from the sweetest corn to the juiciest tomatoes. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Type of crops: Bell peppers, Cucumbers, Field berries, Melons, Raspberries, Onions, Strawberries, Sweet corn, Tomatoes, Zucchinis
Work setting: Rural area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Vegetable harvester, Planting equipment, Tractor, Lift truck, Loader, Farm truck
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail and be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime, distinguish between colours, and handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to do fruit and vegetable combination farming
- The candidates should be able to work in dangerous area, wet/damp area, noisy area, outdoors, hot area, dusty area, and cold/refrigerated area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized, flexible, and judgmental
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to hand harvesting vegetables
- The candidates should be able to do hoeing crops
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to do vegetable culling
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market, write daily basic progress reports
