Sunny valley fruit Ltd offer an extensive selection of both conventional and compostable packaging options including: clam shells, bagging, layers and trays. We acknowledge customers needs for differentiating through private label brands and those requests can easily be accommodated. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- The candidates should be able to develop work schedules and establish procedures
- The candidates should be able to ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- The candidates should be able to maintain quality control and production records
- The candidates should be able to supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
- The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs
- The candidates should be able to hire and train staff
