Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, Morning
Supervision: 3-4 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service
Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor
Physical Requirements:
- he candidates should be comfortable with dusty conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments
- The candidates should be able to tolerate odors
- The candidates should be willing to work outdoors
- The candidates should be capable of working under pressure
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be open to working overtime as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to conduct fruit trees training, co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, and develop work schedules and establish procedures
- The candidates should be able to maintain quality control and production records, supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations, and maintain work records and logs
- The candidates should be able to hire and train staff, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and perform general farm duties
