Salary: $28.00 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Sturgis, SK
Work setting: Rural area, staff accommodation available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be familiar with other grain farming practices
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers, and develop work schedules
- The candidates should ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, overseeing growing and crop-related operations
- The candidates should perform general farm duties, including planting, cultivating, irrigating crops, and fertilizing and spraying crops
- The candidates should maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings
