Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Equipment and machinery experience: Forklift, Loader, Tractor, Fertilizer applicator, Sprayer or duster, Tillage equipment, and Hand tools
Own tools/equipment: Gloves and Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of working independently and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors accurately
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, be comfortable with walking as part of their duties, and be able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate flexibility in their approach to work
- The candidates should exhibit sound judgment in decision-making and be organized in their tasks and responsibilities
- The candidates should display reliability in their work and commitments, be team players capable of collaborating effectively with others, and uphold strong values and ethics in their work practices
- The candidates should be quick learners, able to adapt to new tasks and concepts rapidly
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to collect brush and bud trees
- The candidates should be able to mix fertilizer, pick row and orchard crops, and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, sort and pack fruits and vegetables, and harvest crops
