Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in fruit and vegetable combination farming and willing to work outdoors
- The candidates should be able to work in wet or damp conditions and environments with odors
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions and hot environments
- The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and capable of handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be physically capable of meeting the demands of the job and have good hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as with sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, organization, and reliability in their work
- The candidates should be team players, demonstrating flexibility, organization, and reliability in their roles
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to hand-harvest vegetables, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and clean the crops as needed
- The candidates should be able to tie and secure plants, weed, and fertilize and spray crops for optimal growth
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to clean the work area, detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry, and examine products for quality and market readiness
