Arlington Orchards Inc, based in Richmond, PE is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Farm worker, fruit. With over 32 acres of apples, plus our local pears and plums pushing us over 50 acres, Arlington Orchards are PEI’s largest orchard. We also believe we’re home to the best apple you’ll ever have since all our varieties are grown to their perfect ripened flavor profile! And with over 27 different apple varieties, there’s a favorite apple for everyone in our PEI orchards. We currently have over 6,000 apple trees and produce between 500-700 pound bins for approximately 360,000 pounds each season. Half of those apples are currently exported, while the remainder is sold to other venues and restaurants through our U-Pick, Fruit Markets. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning, 08:00 to 17:30
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, although having experience is an asset
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, At heights, Hot
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to do repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be able to do physically demanding
- The candidate should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidate should be able to do bending, crouching, and kneeling
