Salary: $16.75 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Cawston, BC
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced in fruit and vegetable combination farming and have a background in organic farming
- The candidates should be willing to work outdoors and be accustomed to working in hot environments
- The candidates should be capable of handling repetitive tasks and able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks and comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be proficient in tasks requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to train fruit trees and plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to weed and harvest crops, including picking row and orchard crops
