Salary: $16.95 hourly for 40 to 55 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Vegetables, Apples, cherries, grapes, orchard fruit, and vineyard
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming and possess knowledge of viticulture
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, adaptable to dusty working conditions, and able to work in hot environments
- The candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and efficient in performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and managing physically demanding tasks, possessing hand-eye coordination and the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, comfortable standing for extended periods, and capable of walking for various job requirements
- The candidates should be flexible in tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform deleafing, train fruit trees, and grade produce
- The candidates should be able to maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to perform shoot positioning, suckering, tying of plants, and engage in weeding activities
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops and sort and pack fruits and vegetables
