Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in wheat farming and cultivating grain, oil, and forage crops
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops according to farming practices, fertilize and spray crops as needed for optimal growth and protection, and harvest crops efficiently and safely when they are ready for collection
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning, as well as perform general farm duties to support overall farm operations
- The candidates should be able to ensure that farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times to maintain a safe and healthy environment for workers and livestock
