Friendship Specialty Mushroom Farm Ltd based in Chilliwack, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Farm worker, mushrooms. Friendship Specialty Mushroom Farm Ltd specializes in the production of high-quality specialty mushrooms, including shiitake, oyster, and lion’s mane mushrooms. Our farm’s mushrooms are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers and are certified organic by the Pacific Agricultural Certification Society. We are dedicated to providing fresh, healthy, and delicious mushrooms to our customers while promoting sustainable and ethical farming practices. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handle soil fertility programs
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to sort and pack fruits and vegetables
- The candidates should be able to load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
- The candidates should be able to clean work area
