Salary: $15.85 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Seasonal employment
Location: La Salette, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Rural area
Work site environment: Candidates should work in dusty, hot, cold/refrigerated, wet/damp and outdoors
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work overtime, in fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, pay attention to detail, handle heavy loads, distinguish between colours, sit and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong and also a combination of sitting, standing, walking
- The candidate should have hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidate should have experience of equipment and machinery like Vegetable harvester
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also an organized way
- The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops and also harvest crops
- The candidate should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, examine produce for quality and prepare for market and also write daily basic progress reports
