Salary: $18.00 hourly 24 to 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Part time, STUDENT JOB
Location: 2420 Montrose Avenue, Abbotsford, BC V2S 3S9
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Student status: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, Full time enrollment
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and should a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized, flexible, reliable, and judgmental.
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
- The candidate should have values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to hand harvesting vegetables, harvesting seedlings
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to do weeding
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, sort and pack fruits and vegetables
- The candidates should be able to load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
