Salary: $16.55 to $16.71 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 966 Highway 77 Staples, ON N0P 2J0
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Type of crops: Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Vegetables, and Greenhouse vegetables
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in hot environments and in cold or refrigerated environments
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and be prepared for physically demanding work
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, harvest crops, and examine the product for quality and its readiness for the market
