Salary: $40.00 to $55.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time, On the road job
Location: Brossard, QC
Shifts: Day, Flexible Hours
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own vehicle
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Insurance experience: Automobile, Residential or property, Commercial or industrial property, Accident, Casualty or liability, Business risk insurance
Credentials: Provincial Insurance Adjusters’ Licence
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to review, examine, calculate and authorize insurance claims, ensure settlements are made according to company practices and procedures
- The candidates should be able to consult lawyers, doctors or other individuals to discuss insurance claims, consult with claimants, accident witnesses, doctors and others
- The candidates should be able to determine amount of loss or damages covered by insurance policies, determine validity of claims
- The candidates should be able to inspect automobile, home or other property damage, investigate circumstances surrounding insurance claims
- The candidates should be able to negotiate settlement of claims, prepare adjustment reports, take statements
