Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in wet/damp, noisy, dusty, and cold/refrigerated conditions
- The candidates should be accustomed to a fast-paced environment and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines, with experience in handling repetitive tasks and capability to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should possess physical strength and endurance for physically demanding tasks, demonstrate attention to detail and hand-eye coordination, and be comfortable standing for extended periods, performing activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality, prepare for the market, and write daily basic progress reports
