Education: Candidates should have completed a Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
Experience: Candidates should have 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales

- The candidates should be mutual funds certified professionals with current accreditation and in good standing for MFDA licensing requirements (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
- The candidates should demonstrate proven networking, client acquisition, and interpersonal skills, with experience building and maintaining Centres of Influence (COIs)
- The candidates should be goal-oriented and entrepreneurial, capable of working independently as self-motivated entrepreneurs with minimal supervision, as well as part of a larger team
- The candidates should have extensive knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions, and the regulatory environment
- The candidates should possess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to meet clients and prospects within the designated district
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to execute business development plans for both prospects and existing clients within the mass affluent market
- The candidate should be able to identify additional investment business development opportunities and facilitate the implementation of appropriate investment solutions or referrals to relevant partners
- The candidate should be able to provide client-centric investment solutions using a financial planning framework in alignment with Global Sales Principles
- The candidate should be able to conduct outbound communications and proactive calling to prospects to maintain top-of-mind presence for future business opportunities
- The candidate should be able to conduct complimentary needs analyses across various financial statements, including competitor statements
- The candidate should be able to participate actively in local professional and community events and associations to develop and expand their network
- The candidate should be able to identify opportunities to deliver community information sessions and financial seminars to grow the client base
- The candidate should be able to build and maintain a strong market profile in the assigned territory
- The candidate should be able to network with investment industry specialists while effectively managing a small budget for independent marketing-based activities
