Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have considerable Farm experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced and repetitive task environment
- The candidates should be able to work varying and flexible hours until the job is complete
- The candidates should be able to work in a wet/humid environment
- The candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- The candidates should be physically fit and able to lift, push, and/or pull
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs overhead repetitively
- The candidates should be willing to work statutory holidays and an average of 2 weekends per month
- The candidates must live within 25 kilometers of the farm
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate commitment to working as part of a team and adhering to safe work practices
- The candidates should adhere to HACCP, Biosecurity, and Animal Care requirements (Training provided)
- The candidates should have the ability to troubleshoot equipment as needed
- The candidates should possess excellent communication skills and Leadership experience
- The candidates must have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to work full rotation in the separator and tray wash areas and able to support chick deliveries to farm operations
- The candidates should be able to work with the sanitation team as needed and able to perform receiving duties, including inventory management
- The candidates should be able to work on the Inovo transfer crew when needed (Saturdays included) and able to work in the egg room on Wednesdays and Saturdays as needed
- The candidates should be able to handle eggs such as cleaning, sorting, collecting, and quality inspection and able to perform general cleaning/sanitation of the work area
- The candidates should be able to complete required paperwork and able to ensure adequate requirements for bird health are met
- The candidates should be able to monitor operations within the barns and able to provide day-to-day direction to employees
- The candidates should be able to provide training as required
Benefits:
- The candidates will get Pension after 2 years of continuous service and Boot Reimbursement of $125 after 3 months of service
