Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided.

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment, work overtime, work under pressure, stand for extended periods and also for bending, crouching, kneeling

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, work in a flexible environment and also work in an organized way
  • The candidate should be reliable and also a team player
  • The candidate should have an efficient interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, describe menu items including daily specials for customers and also provide customer service
  • The candidate should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • The candidate should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages, advise on menu selections and also take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
  • The candidate should be able to serve food and beverages and also clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
  • The candidate should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs
