Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a focus on serving clients and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility in their approach to tasks and show initiative in problem-solving and task completion
- The candidates should be well-organized in their work and reliable in meeting deadlines and commitments
- The candidates should be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables and present bills to customers, accepting payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections and balance cash and record sales
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, as well as greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages and take orders, relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs and provide customer service
