Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Serving It Right Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be dedicated to client focus and demonstrate flexibility, maintaining a high level of organization
- The candidates should be recognized for their reliability and be collaborative team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, describe menu items and daily specials, and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to take orders, relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and serve food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers, accept payment in various forms, describe and advise on wine selection, order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware, and perform sensory evaluation of wines
