Salary: $16.00 to $17.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 48 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 7 St. Peters Road Charlottetown, PE C1A 5N1
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Morning
Work setting: Restaurant, and Bistro
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, and Interact machine
Credentials: Food and beverage server trade certificate, and Safe Food Handling certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling, and should be physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding job
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and capable of working effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and efficiently perform repetitive tasks, demonstrating attention to detail in their work
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and tasks, possessing efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities, displaying flexibility in their work approach
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments, striving for accuracy in their work, and being team players capable of collaborating effectively with others
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to greet customers and describe menu items, including daily specials, while providing customer service
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, serve food and beverages, and operate the cash register
