Our hotel is situated on four acres of parkland on the shores of Lake Thomas. We have many years of experience in hotel industry and are well-known in the community. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 5 years or more
Budgetary responsibility: $500,001 – $1,500,000
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Bartender/Mixology Certification Course
Computer and Technology Knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, Point of sale system and Spreadsheet

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment and also work under pressure
  • The candidate should be a combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • The candidate should be able to stand for extended periods, maintain tight deadlines and also pay attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be someone who can be reliable and dependable and also be a team player
  • The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, work in a flexible environment and also work in an organized way
  • The candidate should have accuracy, have an efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication and also an excellent written communication
  • The candidate should be able to supervise 11-15 people

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, organize and maintain inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices and also cost products and services
  • The candidate should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations and also ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • The candidate should be able to set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance and also recruit, train and supervise staff
  • The candidate should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and also provide customer service
