Food counter attendant

SUBWAY based in Edmonton, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Food counter attendant. SUBWAY is known as a food chain committed to providing a wide range of great tasting food choices, while reducing its environmental footprint. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates should have standard educational qualification such as Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years.

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail.
  • The candidate should be required to stand for extended periods.
  • The candidate should be physically demanding.
  • The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be focused on client.
  • The candidate should be someone who can be relied on and a good team player.

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate must be able to bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables, clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, place dishes in storage area, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • The candidate should keep records of the quantities of food used, portion and wrap foods, serve customers at counters or buffet tables, stock refrigerators and salad bars, receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
