Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Electronic cash register, Food dispensers, and Grill
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units thoroughly, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs promptly
- The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware efficiently, and place dishes in the storage area appropriately
- The candidates should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand meticulously, and scour pots and pans diligently
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used accurately and package take-out food securely
- The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods neatly, prepare, heat, and finish simple food items with care, and take customers’ orders accurately and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment thoroughly, and handle and store cleaning products safely
- The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas appropriately, remove kitchen garbage and trash promptly, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors diligently
