Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional oven, Deep fryer, Electronic cash register, Food dispensers, Grill
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment, handling physically demanding and repetitive tasks, and be comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be capable of working under pressure and able to handle loads of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of their responsibilities
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong client focus, prioritizing effective communication and understanding client needs, and possess efficient interpersonal skills, promoting effective interactions within the team and with clients
- The candidates should be reliable, consistently delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines, and be team players, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues to achieve shared objectives
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas, set tables, carry and replace linen, and clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place dishes in the storage area
- The candidates should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and keep records of the quantities of food used
- The candidates should be able to package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
- The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables, stock refrigerators and salad bars, and take customers’ orders
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, handle and store cleaning products, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit with precision
