Subway based in Marathon, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Food counter attendant. Subway is a globally recognized fast-food franchise specializing in made-to-order sandwiches and salads. With a focus on freshness and customization, Subway offers a wide variety of bread, protein, vegetable, and sauce options to cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences. Customers have the flexibility to create their own sandwich or choose from a selection of signature subs, including classics like the Italian BMT and the Veggie Delite. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while being capable of handling repetitive tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus while being team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs promptly and effectively, and package take-out food efficiently and securely
- The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods accurately, following established guidelines, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to recipes and standards
- The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables with courtesy and attentiveness, and stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring items are organized and properly stored
- The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs safely and efficiently
