Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables efficiently, clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain hygiene standards, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs promptly to prepare for new customers
- The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware effectively, place dishes in storage areas neatly and orderly, and replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure customer satisfaction
- The candidates should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand when necessary, scour pots and pans to remove food residues and maintain cleanliness, and keep records of the quantities of food used to manage inventory effectively
- The candidates should be able to package take-out food securely and hygienically, portion and wrap foods accurately to meet customer orders or storage requirements, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables with courtesy and efficiency
- The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and supplies, take customers’ orders accurately and promptly to ensure customer satisfaction, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs efficiently
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment regularly, handle and store cleaning products safely and appropriately, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas with care and organization
