Salary: $22.57 hourly for 32 to 48 hours per week

Shifts: Day
Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in cold/refrigerated and wet/damp conditions
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, reliability, and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety/handling skills
- The candidates should be able to manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers
- The candidates should be able to feed and unload processing machines
- The candidates should be able to check products and packaging for basic quality defects
