Salary: $16.55 hourly 8 to 30 hours bi-weekly

Work setting: Food and beverage plant
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Food Safety Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in environments with odors, hot conditions, and wet/damp surroundings, perform repetitive tasks, and have manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods, have attention to detail, and be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, perform physically demanding tasks, work under pressure, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate food safety/handling skills, measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, and remove filled containers from conveyors
- The candidates should also be able to manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers, check products and packaging for basic quality defects, and clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidates should be able to operate jackhammers and drills to break up pavement
