Salary: $16.50 to $18.50 hourly (To be negotiated) 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 9910 69 Avenue Northwest, Edmonton, AB T6E 6G1
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift
Work setting: Factory or plant
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Own tools/equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, Power tools
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized, initiative, flexible, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs, operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse, and empty trash cans and other waste containers
- The candidates should be able to wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, perform safety and security checks, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- The candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision, clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas, and clean and maintain the workspace
