Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically capable of lifting food, supplies, and equipment up to 46lbs
- The candidates should be able to push/pull meal carts up to 250lbs
- The candidates should be prepared to walk and stand on their feet for the duration of their shift for this position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform a variety of routine tasks associated with basic food preparation in accordance with AHS standards and procedures
- The candidates should be able to package and portion food items, prepare food according to set guidelines and menus, and serve meals to patients and customers
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables, and serving areas
