Job Description:

Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 45 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Lévis, QC
Shifts: Day, Overtime
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Supervision: Working groups

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Landscape construction
Equipment and machinery experience: Backhoe, chain saw, pick-up truck, small engine equipment, and tractor
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and be physically demanding
  • The candidates should possess manual dexterity and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be proficient in bending, crouching, and kneeling

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client-focused and demonstrate judgment
  • The candidates should be team players and exhibit flexibility

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to organize, direct, plan, estimate, and manage planting of trees, gardens, and lawns efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to read blueprints and drawings accurately for landscape construction work
  • The candidates should be able to repair, maintain equipment, requisition materials, and resolve work-related problems effectively
