Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in tree and orchard fruit cultivation
- The candidates should be comfortable with repetitive tasks and capable of handling heavy loads in a physically demanding role
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be capable of walking as part of their job responsibilities
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit efficient interpersonal skills and be collaborative team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform fruit trees training and grading
- The candidates should be able to engage in hand harvesting of vegetables and weeding
- The candidates must demonstrate the ability to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, as well as perform tying
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops and operate/maintain farm machinery
- The candidates are expected to examine produce for quality and prepare it for the market
