Position: Fruit harvesting labourer

Salary: $16.80 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Aldergrove, BC
Work setting: Room and board provided
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in fruit and vegetable combination farming and harvesting crops
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and in dusty environments, as well as in hot conditions
- The candidates should be capable of working in noisy conditions and thriving in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be adept at handling repetitive tasks efficiently and be physically fit for demanding tasks
- The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors and be comfortable standing for extended periods, performing bending, crouching, and kneeling as part of their duties
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crops
- The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables
- The candidates should be able to hoe crops
- The candidates should be able to sort and pack fruits and vegetables
- The candidates should be able to mix fertilizer
- The candidates should be able to perform vegetable culling
