Work setting: Textile manufacturer, fabric products manufacturer, fur products manufacturer, leather products manufacturer, and clothing/textile manufacturing company
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Furrier knives and cutters and Manual leather knives or cutters
Security and safety: Initiative and Organized
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have a strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in their work
- The candidates should be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking as part of the work routine
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as necessary for certain tasks
- The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors, as required by the job
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to cut fur skins according to specifications
- The candidates should be able to number pelts to indicate their place on the pattern
- The candidates should be able to sort or match fur skins
- The candidates should be able to select leather and cutting dies
- The candidates should be able to position leather according to grain, flaws, and stretch
- The candidates should be able to operate machines or manually fabricate leather products
- The candidates should be able to cut and prepare fabric, leather, and fur samples
- The candidates should be able to adjust cutting technique to the type of fabric and style of the garment
