Transportation information: Own transportation, own vehicle, valid driver’s licence, and driver’s abstract
Work setting: Moving and storage company
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Shipping and receiving
Type of industry experience: Automobile and trucking industry
Equipment and machinery experience: Dollies and hand trucks, strapping machine, light trucks, and pallet lifters
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, uniform, and safety vest
Security and safety: Bondable, criminal record check, driving record check (abstract), transportation/travel information, own transportation, own vehicle, valid driver’s licence, and driver’s abstract
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines consistently
- The candidates should be adept at working under pressure and managing a large workload effectively
- The candidates should be physically fit to handle physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads efficiently
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity for performing tasks accurately and demonstrate hand-eye coordination skills
- The candidates should have good attention to detail and the ability to distinguish between colors accurately
- The candidates should be comfortable with activities like bending, crouching, and kneeling, as well as standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and more than 45 kg (100 lbs) as required

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment efficiently, providing excellent customer service to clients
- The candidates should be able to operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products safely, wrapping goods securely for transportation or storage
- The candidates should be able to pack and unpack goods with care, sorting, crating, and stacking goods according to specifications
- The candidates should be able to install, lash, and secure goods properly for transport, storing cargo and materials safely and efficiently
- The candidates should be able to transport and distribute materials and goods according to instructions, ensuring proper handling and delivery
