Salary: $19.00 to $24.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 50 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Charlottetown, PE & Summerside, PE
Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, and Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Garbage truck
Own tools/equipment: Gloves, Safety equipment/gear, and Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Air Brakes Endorsement, and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking while working effectively under pressure
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment, and report any malfunctions to the supervisor
