Salary: $16.00 to $17.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Rural area, and Willing to relocate
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, and Gloves
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in turkey breeding and farming and possess knowledge and experience in poultry and egg production
- The candidates should be comfortable working in dusty and noisy environments and be able to tolerate various odors associated with livestock farming
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be capable of handling repetitive tasks efficiently
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be physically able to perform tasks that involve walking
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to handle animals, monitor animal health, feed and tend animals, and recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
- The candidates should be able to assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- The candidates should be able to maintain livestock performance records, maintain quality control and production records, clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, and perform general farm duties
- The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs
