Yester Years Ranching based in Acadia Valley, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of General farm worker – livestock. Yester Years Ranching is a family owned, mixed farming operation consisting of cow/calf herd, feedlot, and irrigation farming. Our passion for excellence is what inspired us in the beginning, and it continues to drive us today. We pride ourselves in the superior experience in conveyor, material handling and in the long-term relationships we’ve built with our customers. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The position of General farm worker – livestock is approved by LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment).

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to feed and tend animals
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
- The candidates should be able to ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
