Work setting: Rural area
Work site environment: Candidates should work in broiler and other meat-type chicken production, chicken farming, layer poultry farming, outdoors, confined spaces, wet/damp, noisy, odours, dusty, hot and cold/refrigerated place
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks and also handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also in an organized way
- The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to handling animals, monitoring animal health, feed and tend animals and also clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
- The candidate should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry and also set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
