Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Bell peppers and tomatoes
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working at heights and adaptable to wet or damp working conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in hot environments and capable of working in cold or refrigerated environments
- The candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced environment and efficient in performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and managing physically demanding tasks, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and possessing hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and walking, flexible in tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be willing to work overtime as required
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be experienced in cleaning crops, including tasks such as clipping, deleafing, and grading, and have proficiency in greenhouse cleaning
- The candidates should possess the skills for hand harvesting vegetables and be knowledgeable in lowering techniques
- The candidates should be capable of planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops, with experience in suckering and tying
- The candidates should be skilled in fertilizing and spraying crops, adept at harvesting crops, and able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should have the ability to detect diseases and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
