Loveday Mushroom Farms Ltd. is a well-known part of Canada’s thriving mushroom industry. We are known as an advocate of good agricultural practices that ensure the highest standards of safety and quality. We are the first mushroom grower of Canada that is HACCP-certified. Our company is known to maintain food safety certification through the Guelph Food Technology Centre. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to full time or permanent employment. The candidates have to work in Day, Evening, Weekend and Overtime shifts.

Work Site Environment: At heights
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence, Public transportation is not available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English, Mandarin, Panjabi and Punjabi Languages.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Type of Farm Operations: Organic farming
Type of Crops: Mushrooms
Equipment and machinery experience: The candidate should have experience on farm truck, lift truck, loader, planting equipment and tractor
Work site environment: Organic farming, Outdoors, In/on water, Wet/damp, Odours, Dusty
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in tight deadlines and overtime
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidate should be attention to detail
- The candidate should be physically demanding and a combination of standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, walking and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a team player and judgemental
- The candidate should have flexibility
