Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Student status: Full-time enrollment
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have experience in organic farming methods and be capable of working in all weather conditions
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and be capable of safely handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks and able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling when necessary
- The candidates should be comfortable with walking as part of their regular duties and able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing situations
- The candidates should be organized in their work approach and exhibit reliability in their tasks and commitments
- The candidates should be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others, and quick learners, able to grasp new concepts and tasks rapidly
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crops, hand harvest vegetables, hoe crops, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, weed, and clean the work area
- The candidates should be able to sort and pack fruits and vegetables, harvest crops, examine produce for quality, and prepare for the market
