Location: Oliver, BC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, To be determined, Early Morning and Morning
Work setting: Rural area
Work site environment: Candidates should work in Fruit and vegetable combination farming, outdoors and viticulture
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Type of crops: Cherries and Grapes
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment and also stand for extended periods
- The candidate should be physically strong
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also in an organized way
- The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for budding trees, clipping, deleafing, shoot positioning and also suckering
- The candidate should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops and also harvest crops
- The candidate should be able to maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes
